Virginie Descamps is a global leader with experience in over 60 countries and a passion for education, social justice, and diversity. Her own journey as an immigrant inspires her work supporting youth, refugees, and vulnerable communities, and she brings this same heart and vision to GVU.

Virginie Descamps came to the United States from Lille, France at just 17 years old to pursue her studies. Her journey as an immigrant shaped both her passion and her career.

She is now a multi-cultural leader with experience conducting business in more than 60 countries. Virginie is deeply committed to education, social justice, and diversity, and she actively serves on several boards, including Vestian Inc. and Downs UMC, where she supports foster youth and refugees.

GVU’s mission is close to Virginie’s heart, and after hearing Suzan’s story, she was inspired to join our Advisory Committee. We are excited and grateful to have her on the team—Virginie’s vision, experience, and passion are an inspiration to us all.
